      We’re wrecking Octavia RS of the same age with the same engine because of failed tensioner.
      Mine is a 2012 TSI 132 manual AWD as well. Currently at 245k km.
      Timing chain tensioners give a slight tick when revs drop and fair bit of oil use. About to get some engine work as I want to keep it.
      Including tensioners and chain.

      Wondering if new pistons or just rings is worth doing.
