Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Crap radio reception in 2015 Tig

    Does anyone else suffer from poor radio reception in their Tig? The local dealer service team don't give a rat's arse, since there are no error codes showing on their plug-in, so no amount of explanation as to the user experience is valid.

    And has anyone else looked into a replacement head-unit, preferably a DAB/DAB+ unit, that includes the reversing camera and it's active parking guidance lines?

    I removed mine for a RNS510 Radio reception is fine ,

      DAB will be worse I have a Dab home radio and it wont work much past Bribie going north (40mins out of Brissy CBD) so I doubt it will work much except right in the cities and it seems to be very touchy as to orientation just sitting still.

      Certainly doesnt work at Maroochydore
