What Colour is Your Tig?

Looking to see what colour preferences people have gone for;
Pure White
Caribbean Blue
Habanero Orange
Indium Grey
Ruby Red
Tungsten Silver
Deep Black

I would have been happy with any colour except habanero orange...
I actually told the dealer: first available vehicle, Induim Grey, Silver, or Black in that order.
I'm picking up the Induim Grey tomorrow!

I like how the chrome looks on the darker colours, but also would have enjoyed the 'retro' contrast of the plastic exterior trim on the Silver.... it takes me back to the early 90s before colour coded bubble bumpers.

I have an agreement with my wife, she picks the colour, I choose the car.
She alway's picks black but I can live with that .

Which dealer in Sydney allows weekend pickup? Leichhardt "car dealer of the year" certainly didn't....

Tunston Silver both wife and I chose. Liked Indium Grey but felt lighter car would be cooler. I personally liked white and it would have saved $700 but wife did not like white.[emoji7]

Have ordered a Ruby Red RLine. Not sure if I actually like the colour, but hate white & grey cars. Not really much of a selection, and I went with what I thought was the best of a bad bunch. Upgrading from a Tornado red GTi

Except for those fake exhausts.
Would love to replace them with a set of dual pipes each side.
It bit more like a Macan S set of quads.

Agree. I didn't realise they were pure fakery till I stuck my head underneath. It looked stupid ideling in the cold, as the exhaust gasses drift around under the rear of the car. I'd been wondering about extending the pipe work, but maybe the plastic trim would tarnish quicker than my S3 chrome pipes - which are a PITA to clean

I ordered an Indium 162 DAP not R-Line on 4th July and was allocated a car that had just been loaded on a ship and the ship arrived mid-August and I got the car just over a week ago. There's something pretty weird about VW's ordering and allocation process.

There can be multiple issues for the delay. I ordered a (Business) R-Line in The Netherlands and was told there were problems with the front bumpers and my leather seats. If I did not take the leather seats, my delivery could be 6 weeks earlier. If I'd let go of the R-Line package it would be another 4-5 weeks earlier. I wanted both and had to wait a total of 5.5 months now and I can pick it up this Wednesday. (also earlier then expected, it was originally due for the 27th of October) . But that earlier delivery times is also possible because my car doesn't have to take a boat trip for 4-6 weeks and I can imagine that those dates are pretty solid as they have to buy a spot on the boat I guess.
