Hi guys! I'm from the other side of the world , but a VW owner as you (I drive a Golf 7).

I was not able to read all pages on this thread, though I tried. Nonetheless, I dare to ask if the hack you have been discussing about activating the TJA on a car that already has Lane Keep Assist can be applied only to the latest generation vehicles from VW, or if it can be applied to a 7th generation Golf (mine is from 2016).

Where are you from? You need Adaptive cruise control and lane assist for TJA. Also it depends on the module of the Lane assist camera.

Do you also need the sensors on the bumper? I have a total of 8, 4 on the front and 4 on the back. I was told to have TJA you need to have a total of 12. You have to have the sensors on the side of the bumper too. Can someone confirm this?

That's the first I've heard of TJA needing additional sensors although it makes sense as these are the 4x sensors mounted at each corner covering the side of the car for Park Assist - I'm fairly certain these have a larger range and this may help the car navigate at low speeds while self steering.

No,

TJA only needs Adaptive cruise control, lane assist and DSG. No other sensors needed. Im 100% sure as i coded TJA on many cars

Yeah can be done. I can do it for you.

For DLA you need the correct headlights.

I believe I have the correct headlight. They move have the ability to move up and down and side to side. How would you be able to do it for me? I’m in New Jersey USA. I have a obdelleven. If you can talk me through it or assist me somehow I can pay you.

Okay sounds great. I have to order a VCP. Right now I only have obdelleven. Had to sell my vcds cause it wasn’t working on my Tiguan. I’ll message you when I get it in.
