Will have a look tonight at the codes from Jap's Golf MK7.5 I have got now and see what similarities I can find with Hugo_nz's against mine.

    • I copied Hugo's A5 long coding but that alone didn't activate TJA (or ALG below 60km/h).

Hi All, Hope I can chip in on this TJA feature that we are all keen to activate. I've tested my fully loaded 2017 Tiguan R-Line and TJA is definitely not enabled. When I have ACC on and speed dropped below 65K, lane guidance goes off. Note that I don't have the ALG option in the menu and I have not change anything yet but it works above 65K without ACC on (Tested). So may be ALG is on by default?

I've compared my settings with Hugo's and everything is the same except for the long coding (highlighted in red)

Lane guidance and adaptive lane guidance are different things. You need a simple coding change to activate ALG.

My long coding for A5 module is 000307060000010100022346C050890084000E20002, which is a combination of yours and Hugo's. I copied Hugo's long coding on my car but it didn't achieve anything.

The more I look at the coding differences the more I don't think it is related to the A5 module. Am working on another possibility, just needing to get the time to test.

            • I think you're right. It more feels like Module 44 steering assistance to me but it's such a short module, there's not much to change. Plus, we don't know Hugo's steering asistance long coding or adaptations.

I have dumps from an Audi A3 tomorrow/monday which has the ALG below 60km/h and also got module44 and some more stuff from it.
Does Hugo have ALG below 60km/h? I can't remember, if that is the case and you tried the long coding of module A5 then we need to try and look at the other modules indeed but Hugo didn't send the other modules (yet)

I Just received all the dumps from the Dutch Audi A3 with the bought option TJA.
He still has the 3-seconds penalty but his ALG works below 60km/h .
I've send the dumps to NZ_GolfR . If more people are interested, send me a PM with your e-mail address.

Interesting byte 16 ends in 8 in all with TJA enabled (bit3 seem to change to correct value)

also bytes 6 and 13 look interesting too (byte 6 goes under the heading "stopping distance reduction and city automatic emergency brake assist" (top 2 boxes change from 4 to7))(byte 13 only has bit 6 enabled)

All lined up to make it a bit easier to read, wouldn't mind a couple more to see what's what (geemoney? As it's a European car (even though the steering wheel is on the wrong side ha ha ha)

Been thinking about that, the steering has already been coded to work with the ALG (byte 0 bit 0 active) so hopefully just as much or less to do there

Let's wait on NZ_GolfR , he has the complete Audi dump including module 44 etc.
I Can also mail the dumps to you?
About the position of the steering wheel, you are right on that one haha, Europe had to be different I guess .
Though more people are right handed so it makes sense to shift with that one haha
