How much did you pay for your Tiguan?

Hi all. Just ordered my first VW - 2020 Tiguan Allspace MY20 162tsi in pure white with all 3 packs (r line, sound and vision, sunroof) plus cargo tray, steel protector on boot lid and weathershields accessories. Final price of
$62k driveaway. Could have bargained more but decided to go with it as it’s on order to be delivered next year (March/april)!

Hi folks, looks like it is the season for doing deals - just did a SWB Tig 162 Highline - June build demo (MY19.5). 85 klms on the clock, white with R-Line and S&V pack - $56,000 drive away. only just rego'd so full 12 months of that plus the full 5 years warranty. On the lot, ready to pick up.

It’s our first new car so we wanted to buy a 2020 and get the full year (well most of it) driving that years build and model year!

Yep well aware the MY20 is around. We want a 2020 build MY20, not a 2019 build MY20, so we wait !

Would $60k be reasonable for a 162TSI with all the packs?

I think so, I paid 61k but without sunroof (my choice).

I paid $57250 for an Rline with DAP and Sound but no sunroof in March got one of the last old Aids thankfully

I guess plus sunroof and metallic paint, that's 60k

Pricing will depend on how long the stock has been sitting in the dealers yard.
is your 60k price for an MY19, MY19.5 or MY20?
I ordered an MY20 so think I got a good price, I could have had an MY19.5 cheaper, but didn’t want that one.

Guess I need to do a bit more research, have there been much changes between the years? I saw a button was removed on the tailgate.

realistically, the MY19.5 I think would be a better buy. The MY20 loses the second button on the tailgate of The Allspace and if you are planning on coding out the start/stop function there is no solution for this yet.
However, if you are looking for the regular Tiguan, I think it gets some additional features (light assist?) for the MY20.
