No tints, just the paint protection, although it does look like it has been done in the pics. Pretty sure I posted some pics when I picked car up. I have had paint protection before and enjoyed the benefits.......still beading water after 12 years!

MY18.5 Tiguan - R-Line/DAP/Sunroof in Tungsten Silver
After 3 weeks some TLC needed. Surprised to find so much iron on the paint, had to use some of the colortec as I didn't have enough Iron X, garage still smells of it,yuk! Clayed it and put a coat of Powerlock on it topped with Collinite 845. Looks and feels fantastic. Running out of light so pics don't do it justice.
Thought I'd upload some pics from recent Easter trip and also after I gave the Tiguan a clean!
162TSI Highline MY18 with DAP and tints.
Also treated with GTechniq CSB and EXOV3.
Hi, do you mind if I ask how you did the front and back euro plates? Did you have to drill holes in them? Here in Vic, I believe the standard ones don’t have pre drill holes on them.

I bought euro plates (nsw) with my order and the dealer did it all.
Looks like they are mounted on Euro Plate holders which you can get from VcRoads or eBay. I gave my euro plates and plate holders to my dealer and they were installed on my Grid (the plates aren’t drilled into).

I got these from Autobarn. No drilling of plate required.

Cool. I’d hate to put a hole in those expensive plates. Nothing to worry about then
That’s great! So the plate slides in the protector and then the protector gets screwed on the holder?

We’ve got the same mounts/covers on our Tig, as well as new Golf. The protector just clips on to the mount. You should note that, unless the the mount is on a perfectly flat surface there’ll be small gaps (a couple of mm) at each end, as the clips aren’t designed to hold the protector into a curve. In other words, works well on the back of the car, but front not so much.
