TSI 162 RLINE fuel consumption

    I've only been driving our car to work and back since we've taken delivery about 2 weeks ago. It's been averaging about 7.5-8L/100kms. No highway driving, but plenty of 70 & 80 km roads with minimal traffic

    ...on Eco mode

      Drove from Melbourne to Adelaide today, averaged 7.7L/100km for the trip. Did it in one tank with some to spare.

          Yes just over 700. With the range left should have been able to get 800km.

              No not for the footy unfortunately. Would have been worthwhile for any Melbourne fans though.

              For the drive home I averaged 7.6L/100km so a very small improvement. I now have just over 2000km on the clock so not sure if this figure will improve further? Never came close to seeing the claimed 7L/100km however.

                Good stuff, yeah it's pretty low. Maybe if you'd sat on 80km/h BTW - die hard Melbourne supporter here
