Did you ever fit a resonator? Wouldn’t mind changing my stock one to see if I can eliminate the 1500rpm drone.

Sorry about the delay mate, I was logged out of my Tapatalk app. The Tig is back at Rob Bliss to get it right. They are having a fiddle to see what works to kill the drone as it's a little too much for me.
Did Rob Bliss exhausts advise on a resonator you could try?

It really came down to the muffler. It wasn't able to handle the sonics of the Tiguan I guess. Flange has been put behind the rear diff for easy ability to try something else. I'm quite tempted to try a Golf GTI Muffler and unclip the fake exhaust.

I would love to try an exhaust from a SQ5 or RSQ3 and see if either would fit with the fake exhausts removed, they would look awesome just ridiculously expensive if you can find a set!!

Perhaps a Golf R or an S3 muffler might fit better given that those are AWD, keep us posted as there should be quite a few second hand mufflers around. If the mounting points are similar you could drill out the fake exhaust and poke the exhaust tips through.

2 things to keep in mind is that the plastic on the rear bumper may not be suitable for higher temps (may be a softer plastic which has a lower melting point). Second is that if you have rear park sensors they are quite close so you don't want to melt the wiring.
So if you're going to do it make sure whoever is looking at it addresses these couple of issues so you don't end up with a big mess (and expensive repair bill).
