Today was using VCDS for the first time.
I now have Traffic Alerts and have disabled the STOP/START (feature).

          Nice work

I disabled stop/start too. I didn’t mind it stopping while sitting at traffic lights but it was more the quick stop/go situation that it didn’t handle particularly well.

Did a chrome delete on the Tiguan over my holiday break. Vinyl wrapped.

Considered the roof rails and mirrors.. maybe another day.

I definitely see the usefulness, just can't get past the exposed silver/chrome ridges. I personally think it negatively impacts the back end of the car

Agree... I love the protection idea... But it just looks so cheap and nasty!! Will be exploring a skin option when the car finally gets here.

That sounds like a clean stealth option. Would love to see the final result on that.

Mate, that chrome delete looks sick!!! Seriously considering this for my white r-line.

I got my mirrors, rear wing, lower door trims and window trims vinyl wrapped when i first got my car. Roof rails I was told would need to be removed to be done properly.

$250 is a very good price for what you got done.

                            THE GOOD:
                            1) CQUK Ceramic coating - self applied
                            2) G4 coating to exterior plastic / rubber - self applied
                            3) Blackvue 900 dashcam with Powermagic Pro - self installed
                            4) Wireless QI charging plate in foward console tray ex AliExp.
                            5) LED lights in trunk & glovebox - only problem was gbox light needed a bit if filing. Much whiter and brighter.
                            6) Spectra ceramic window tint to sort of match the factory privacy tint - see other thread on tinting.
                            7) Front number plate mount removal and plugging - see other thread on number plates.

How're you finding the wireless charge plate?

Hi.. Yes it works fine. The first one I got was a bit fickle but they immediately sent a replacement. It is a pretty simple thing just made of 3 layers of acrylic sheet with the QI device sandwiched in there. USB diect connected phone will take priority over pad charging if you want to go that way to use wired connection for Carplay / Android Auto no problem. I find it really convenient.
