Tiguan R-Line Production Woes

Afternoon guys

It doesn't seem to get better for those guys that have ordered R-lines and are patiently waiting, and you have my sympathy

I am one of the lucky ones that have taken delivery but came upon this on a UK Tiguan forum which I think a lot of you will
find disappointing to say the least

I believe that each country will have an allocation. More than likely because in the UK/Europe they can option the R-line onto Comfortline trim/lower spec engines, there's a high demand for R-line and hence longer lead times.

Looks like the advertising works and everyone wants the car in the ad and not the base mode triml....

That's a long wait!

Just ordered 162 R line - have to wait until August 17! Apparently next ones aren't arriving until 2018

5 months is not too bad considering some have waited 7-9 months.
