I checked with spirit level. The steering wheel on my Allspace Rline is dead centre relative to the centre of the driver's seat.
maybe your seat stitch is not exactly in the middle? thus giving the illusion of steering wheel being offset?

my old CX5 definitely have this offset.

These have only just started getting delivered in the last couple of weeks.

Just on Dynaudio in a Tig

Driving both an Allspace with S&V and an R-line without Dynaudio (have added a Panasonic spare wheel Sub). If you enjoy music and happy to pay the extra, get Dynaudio as there is so much more depth to the sound coming out of the speakers. If you listen to them in isolation you may not hear the difference, but listening back to back you should appreciate it more, hearing the difference which is substantial in my opinion and worth every cent.

Was really glad I added the sub to my MY18 Tig, it makes a big difference, but still lags behind Dynaudio.

I’m amazed nobody else has already suggested you turn the wheel slightly to the right to line them up!

Just kidding. It would drive me nuts. Mine is dead square.

        • Is there any stickers that you can get to put on the puddle lamps on a highline so that it can project the VW logo, Wolfsburg logo or Rline logo?

Yeah if I sit sideways it's not so bad either

It's only really noticeable when you're setting up your driving position. If you put both hands at the top of the wheel it's fairly obvious that your shoulders are slightly twisted. Though it hasn't caused me any problems/issues on long drives.

            It's more a psychological issue...

I haven’t seen anything for the puddle lamps. I’m not sure how well it would work even if they were available.

              • One other observation is that this has to be one of the most dribbly cars I’ve ever owned.

After I wash it I’ll dry it off but then I inevitably end up coming out later to water runs from the mirrors or boot.

                Anyone else had similar experience?

                • @Tigger73 I always take it for a blast around the block to shake the water out and then a final wipe of all those exact spots you show.
This also dries the brake pads and rotors as I had the handbrake bind up the day after washing a couple of times.

Go and test drive another one and see if it is same or different. If the seat is askew it’s gonna drive you bananas for just knowing. Maybe a safety and ergonomic issue too.

The exact same thing happened to my Golf a few times. Do you reckon the handbrake binding up due to surface rust is a VW-specific thing?

The Golf dribbles a bit too. Wing mirrors and near the boot sill in particular

Nah, I’ve had it happen to my previous Mondeo. It didn’t have electric handbrake, but did have the euro spec brake pads and soft alloy rotors.

I'll try running it around the block if nothing else than to remove excess water. I've had the hand brake bind up on the Tig before. Makes an awful clunk when it disengages.

I suspect it'll still dribble - I even wipe down inside the boot sill but it still manages to run out. I think I'll just have to keep a micro-fibre cloth in the car to fix up the dribbles. Just it leaves water marks if you don't get it straight away and they can be hard to get off.

                          • Well took it around the block and then wiped down. Went to the shops to pick up tea and I’ve got splatters down each front door:

I think this is going to be one of these ongoing things...

                            • Oh well, time to lick a hanky and wipe the water spots off. Looks like a mirror finish otherwise 👍

Perhaps the water will come off better when you have stage 2?

                              • Grab a mini blower skin made by whichever brand cordless power tool batteries you have at home. Use it to blow the water out of all the drippy bits before you dry.
