Same here, but those clips doesn't look like they can do a job for a long time. I want to provide whole new cable and stick it flat to hide. Because of camera location it is now not visible at first glance - only cables if someone want to see them from outside.

Also thinking about way to put back camera cable, because I'm using back grid - on photo it was taken out - for now I have problem temporairly solved.

Betsy, obviously English is your second language, I'm having a little trouble understanding you.

I've had those clips on my windscreen for two years and they are rock solid. They're a lot better than they look at first glance, once you replace the grey tape with black. They are also designed to take both the main power cable and rear camera cable together. Once you do that I can't see a need for the flat cable.

I'd send you some photos, but I'm in London at the moment. Maybe next week when I get home.

        Yes, I'm sorry.

Hmm, sounds like I should give them a chance. Thank you.

        • Does anyone know how to change either the model or the colour of the car that is displayed on the Discover Pro and the Active Info Display?

My car is white but the car shows as grey in all the menus.

          • Does anyone who has received their Tig know how to activate automatic high beam control? I was pretty sure it's available in OZ. Also, does your car automatically stop when detecting an obstacle while reversing? I believe it is maneuver breaking- can't seem to get it to work

In my car, I need to just turn them on. On AID there is an icon which show it is working.

Yes, and it was unexpected for me when car was stopped - behing me I had only grass. But my friend had situation when he was reversing, and behind him car started moving forward - it worked too.

I don't think the cars in AU or NZ have the Automatic High Beam option enabled but can be turned on by coding (see the first post here regarding Light Assist: http://www.vwwatercooled.com/forums/...ns-117741.html). I know I don't have this option under the Car Setup menu but planning to enable it once I can confirm the coding changes required.

With regards to the automatic braking when reversing I can confirm it definitely works on my car. To get in to my carport I have to reverse in on an odd angle and get as close as possible to the opening on the right hand side of the car. Normally I just get a lot of beeping but 2 occasions now the car has decided that I was getting a bit too close and slammed on the brakes for me. The first time it gave me quite a fright but now I know what it is it may seem a little annoying since I know I wasn't actually going to hit the wall but I can see how it could save my ass when backing out of a car park and someone impatiently drives past.

Thanks, does it show the blue high beam indicator in the AID with an A in it?

I will try to reverse into something (something that doesn't damage the car) and see if it stops

Thanks, I will try the reversing again. In regards to the high beam assist I thought I read that somewhere- I will see if I can find it -

Turn the dial on the right near the driver's door to 'Auto' and the headlights will adjust based on light levels and traffic. Works really well.

                        Position "zero"

Push once left "wand" (don't know how to call it in English) outside of you, and white beam indicator will show near shift indicator:

Push it again, and it will switch permanently to high beam, and white indicator will gone, but blue one appear:

Doing this again and again you can switch modes. If you pull it to you, it will shut high beam off - but only from "blue" mode.

I tried that but it seems that is yet another feature not enabled in Australia- thanks for your effort

That is right but it doesn't switch automatically between high and low beam

Not a problem. I spend almost whole day yesterday in my car playing with VCDS.

Like I said in one of the threads, if anyone curious about something from EU configuration, just ask

                              • Does anyone know how to store the boot divider in the spare wheel area? The thing just wouldn't fit there unlike what the instruction said.

I dont want to use it. Any video guide for this?

                                Thank you
