$1800! damn... is it really worth it? Seems alot for paint protection. I can't say I know too much about this kinda stuff though.

It’s not just paint protection, he also first does paint correction then paint protection (Pomponazzi xx) and also does wheels windows and the interior too.

Thanks, very happy with the car, can wait till Monday or Tuesday to get it back, only drove it 30km to the Detailer.

My brother inlaw had this black BMW done in opti-coat +, it looks good but not as glossy as Pomponazzi xx. You should go down and have a look first, be for deciding.
Just mention you heard about Pomponazzi from the forum.

Know what you mean, I've clocked up almost 6500km in mine, the engine is getting better I reckon, the exhaust note has changed. Great car to drive, have got the itch for some mild mods, considering getting it chipped rather than a full tune, thought about a resonator delete but do not want the risk of it droning while cruising..

My eldest thinks she's pretty special cruising about with the L plates on. Kept telling her to slow down it's not a race as she takes off from the lights, reckon she's copying me unfortunately.. lol

I've done the same kms but since 8 Sept. Mine is a 140TDI and its engine is getting better. Done some long trips and the engine efforessly does what is needed. On one short trip (25kms) I even had a fuel consumption of 5.0. Definitely the best vehicle I have bought.

I'm still waiting for my VIN despite the car landing in Melbourne on the 24/10. In terms of delivery all I get from the dealer is that the car hasn't arrived at the dealership yet. They say they can't provide an ETA which I don't accept.

The only thing stopping me from telling them to jam it is they could sell the car for more than what I'm paying for it which would please them no end.

I'm still waiting for my VIN despite the car landing in Melbourne on the 24/10. In terms of delivery all I get from the dealer is that the car hasn't arrived at the dealership yet. They say they can't provide an ETA which I don't accept.

The only thing stopping me from telling them to jam it is they could sell the car for more than what I'm paying for it which would please them no end.

It’s true they have no control when it comes, it won’t be to far away. It can take up to 2 1/2 weeks after landing.

Mine was on the same boat. I got my VIN weeks ago and was able to track it all the way. I got my Rego today and pick up my car first thing Mon morning. Finally after over 8 months wait!!

I would press your dealer harder - not good enough

I got my VIN through VWA Facebook Messenger. They needed my COMM number. I've dealt with Brighton, the new car bought a couple of years ago came with a dint.
