VW Tiguan Cameras

Hey guys, i tried checking on other areas of the forums but does anyone know if there are any settings or even VCD tweaks that allow us to turn on the 360 cameras on at ANY driving speed instead of turning off at 15kph?

I would find this really useful when I'm camping and driving on trails etc.

Well in my foraging for all things Tiguan I can honestly say I have never seen it mentioned and I haunt about 6 different forums for VCDS mods.

You would need an extra pair of eyes to watch that and where you are going at the same time LOL

Given how distorted the view is on the centre screen on my MY23 Tig R I find it hard to rely on with just a glance.
Certainly at low speed, with a touch on the view I want to be centre screen, it’s a bit better.
The cameras are all pretty wide view so the distortion is fairly strong.
The park assist button (safety cone one) seems to work whenever I press it but not sure if it cuts out above any particular speed?

Its not so much to use the 360 cam function itself ss the stitching is terrible at speed. Its more so to use the front cam on firetrails for the sake of seeing rocks/judging ruts etc. Like a rock/trail cam some 4x4s have. (Yes I'm aware this is a softroader haha)

Well after seeing what a big clump of grass did to a Tiguans sump and oil sender I wouldnt be going far off road at all as the pissy little front undertray isnt worth anything. Havent got a photo but the vehicle had the sender at the front of the sump completely ripped out

I bought one of these and fitted it and I never intended to go off road. Havent seen them as being available but was $159
When I bought it Mechanics at the dealers were quite impressed.

Oh that looks like a must have! Whats the overall material? Looks like its plastic with metal plates of the parts that need accessing?

No metal at all its about 5mm thick extremely hard rigid plastic material, the little doors can open for oil changes etc.as have 1/4 turn clips holding them shut. I cut the lower side in the picture to give air vents like the top ones and spaced the rear edge off the crossmember by about 30mm to let the air flow through Just used longer bolts and packed it with a couple of nuts on each one.. I really dont know if you can still buy that exact one but have seen metal ones at about $300+. Mine was from Ali Express
