Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Street Name Missing on Display

    Hi All,

    Can someone tell me what's happened here...

    The top left corner of the (Discover Pro) display used to show the name of the road you were on, but now it just shows "Normal".

    The destination memory was full so I deleted the entries, but that didn't fix the issue.

    Can't find anything in the manual.

    Appreciate any guidance here.

    What map version have you got. Used to make a difference on older maps sometimes

      I noticed when I turned it on this morning that I get the upward arrow in the circle when the car is off (but no street name next to it) but that changes to an icon of a house and "Normal" when the car starts.

      Something's been pushed or a setting changed, I just don't know what.

        Thats not map details. In System settings it gives Navigation Database which latest is 23.6

        There is a little icon with a pointer on edge which changes from North up to direction up by touching it but that doesnt make any difference to location on my Amundsen 3.0
