    How so?
whats the difference, a slightly different tune; internals; or both?

      They're all slightly different tunes:

      Tiguan 132TSI
      Max power, kW @ rpm | 132 @ 3900-6000
      Max torque, Nm @ rpm | 320 @ 1500-3940

      T-Roc 140TSI
      Max power, kW @ rpm | 140 @ 4900 - 6000
      Max torque, Nm @ rpm | 320 @ 1500 - 4800

      Polo GTI
      Max power, kW @ rpm | 147 @ 4,390-6,000
      Max torque, Nm @ rpm | 320 @ 1,450-4,390

T-Roc has the broadest toque curve, however peak power is delivered a bit later in the range. Tiguan looks detuned in comparison to the other 2.

          Hey iDiesel,

Not yet, I'm itching to get it back but want the guys at UGP to be 100% happy with it. With restrictions easing here in Melbourne they're slammed with extra work, and having told them to take their time, mine will be pushed back a bit. Hopefully this will be the week I get it back, and will post my experience as soon as possible.

Yeah keen to see what they are able to achieve out of this platform. If it's the first one they've done it may take a bit more R&D than a copy/paste tune on a Mk7 GTI/R.

                OK, time for an update;
I stopped by UGP today for an update, and they're still working around torque limitations within both ECU & TCU. The turbo's currently capped at 1.6Bar of boost, and they want to crack 1.9 safely. So I'm picking it up this Friday afternoon and will go back in a week or so for more dyno and fine tuning time. But all parts are fitted, HPA IS38, Golf R springs, superpro rear swaybar, CTS downpipe and Mishimoto intercooler, turbo inlet pipe along with tune to what they can given current limitations.

Alright, picked up the Tiguan yesterday, and in 34 degree heat couldn't do a proper power run but it's going back next Friday for a final check and tune adjustment. But for now boost has been set to 1.8 Bar, everything fitted and drives SO SWEET! Under 2700-2800RPM it's a bit more responsive, but over that and foot the down, she lifts her nose (slightly) and just goes, no relenting of push in the back and doesn't run out of puff. The rear sway upgrade has really helped to keep it flat through the twisty's, my only issue is with the down-pipe. Sounds very raspy especially on cold start (also done a res delete), but settles once warm. Probably just have to get used to it, or maybe go a Golf R muffler. Either way driving has improved a lot, and will update final power numbers once it's all sorted and temp friendly.

                    Great news.
Glad to hear it’s getting there
Was it a new buy, ie 2020 model?
If so, the raspiness May settle down once you get some soot build up.
I quite like the deeper burble of my 162 now that is has 30k on the clock

                      Hey iDiesel,
Bought new in 2019, has about 35,000k's on it now. I've heard the raspiness will probably settle, but UGP recommended a MK7 Golf R muffler will help without negating the benefits of the down-pipe. When I get the tune check over and power run done on Friday I'll talk a bit more to the guys, but for now loving how it drives.

It must be completely chalk and cheese to the stock 132TSI.

The raspiness is there for me too - think it’s a factor of running without a centre resonator. I’m thinking of installing a hotdog muffler just to reduce the raspy cold starts. Once it’s warmer up it’s fine though.

Hotdog may be the way to go, just needs that cold start sound sorted, you're right though once warm everything is sweet. Something else I've noticed is fuel consumption has improved on freeway driving. With just the stage 1 tune, I'd average around 6.2-6.5L/100k's, now it's down to 5.8, which makes a nice off set for spirited driving consumption.

                            Wow, that's excellent fuel economy.
I'm over 10's normally, but can get low 7's on the freeway.
Never seen anything starting with a 6 let alone a 5!

OK, final numbers are in ..... 192KWAW! 1.8Bar of boost, and right at the limit as far knock sensors pulling timing at the top end goes. Extremely happy with how it drives, especially as a cost exercise goes. With purchase price from new and all mods to date, still comes in well under a new 162 Highline price. Next up will be a Mk7 Golf R cat-back (including resonator) exhaust with modified rear bumper to accomodate duel tips to help cut down the cold start noise with the new down-pipe.

Great result!!!! And nice to see they got around the boost limiters. You must be stoked with the result and looks like it pulls like a train to redline now too with an extra 100kwaw over stock at 6,000rpm
