  • Fuel gauge faulty?

    Dear clever forum members,
I have a my20 Tiguan highline 162tsi. On my first tank of fuel, was enjoying the car (it’s brand new), and surprised at how little fuel it was sipping as the fuel gauge had not moved at all, even after 400km of driving! (See first pic). Very suddenly today however, as I was driving out of my driveway, the fuel gauge suddenly showed the tank was completely empty (just a few kms after it was showing full).. any ideas what could be wrong? I have applied a few tweaks using obdeleven- Scandinavian lights, rear taillights on, direct throttle, Etc but nothing relating to fuel gauge or display, could I have a factory fault? Or any one else experienced this before?

A wee read through the recent threads would have revealed this

Forgot to also mention that it showed only 35km range left, so I went to fill it .. 55L of fuel (full tank), and the gauge is still showing empty.
