DSG Tune Tiguan 2019

Hi guys has anyone had their DSG mapped using either APR or similar? Is it worth the coin? Heard mixed results. Thanks

I don't think APR have a DSG tune yet for this model Tiguan.
Others have had theirs done by Etuners

Etuners in Melbourne did mine when I got my stage 1 done.

4000rpm launch control, quicker shifts.

Only downside is that during low speed driving e.g. around carparks or heavy traffic DSG is a bit more grabby because of the higher clamping force with the tune so can lunge a bit.

Thanks INASNT yeh that was the feedback I got from APR, (which do have the files for the Tig idiesel). Quoted $1500 which includes another minor engine tune, from memory it front loads some more power earlier in the range.

Good to know. I can’t seem to find it advertised on their website?

Is the $1500 even if you have a stage one tune already?

I'd be interested to know as I was pretty sure APR didn't have anything for the DQ500, however maybe that has changed recently.
