    Light comes on when folding sun shade down

    Hey Everyone,

    When ever I fold the drivers sun shade down the light above comes on even though the cover on the mirror is closed. In order to turn it off I have to open and then close the mirror cover. Every time I also adjust the angle of the shade the light will come back on.

    Has anyone else ever had this issue and no if there is an easy fix without having to return to dealer?

    No, my light does come on until you open the cover on the mirror

      Pretty easy but needs to go back to the dealer to check that the litle switch in it isnt faulty. Mine turns off 15mm before its shut

      How can u tell its on when cover is shut as it seals pretty good as i did mine in the dark and light doesnt show up around edges

        It does turn off when closing but the issue is that it turns on when opening even though the mirror is closed.

          Crook wiring into the sunshade might have been pinched on installation
