  • Mystery symbols on dash

Hi, new owner of Mk2 162 - too many things to get my head around, so this is the first of some questions which may seem silly to others - have looked in the ,manual , on-line, on this forum to no avail.

3 white colored symbols - looking something like seats - appear in lower left side of display when turning on - disappear once mobile.

    Anyone have any idea?

    Thanks Mack.

Represents the rear seats. When a seatbelt on one of the shown locations is fastened, it shows a belt icon across the seat. Helps you work out whether your kids have buckled up or not.

they don’t use weight sensors in the back seats (coupled with a warning signal) because people often put groceries bags etc on the back seats. It’s simple and it works

Thanks Anthony - obvious when you think about it (and now that I have tried it).

      cheers

I have Allspace and there's 5 seats that show up on the dash.
I was surprised they registered the 6th and 7th seats - a good idea, but thought they would have skimped on them...

Shame we don't get any traffic info without having to code it in ourselves...
