Do you guys not have the T Roc over there yet? They’ve been on NZ roads here for about a month or two already.

That's correct, no T-Roc downunder to date.

The Mrs is salivating on them arriving.
Since getting the Big, she's no longer yearning for a CX3 and now wants a baby Tig

The SO has a CX3 and I'm hoping I can get her in a T-Cross next...

This is an interesting article, reading between the lines I wonder if the Golf R will be pulled from the market in Oz as well or we get a very watered down version. I would be very keen on the T-Roc R but it appears not to be a starter under present fuel quality rules. Any motor fitted with a particulate filter will not be coming here which might slim the model line down a bit. This problem has been the subject of some lobbying in the halls of power (Canberra) in recent times with the governement refusing to implement changes so these motors can be brought in to this country.

^ Agreed, this is a serious concern. Cant imagine VW would want to lose Golf R sales in Australia so may be able to manufacture without the PPF. They may not be able to finesse this for niche products such as the T-Roc R however.

It becomes more difficult with WLTP.
