Extended warranty plus 5 years

Hi All,

I have a vehicle arriving with the 5 year warranty and I’ve been offered an additional two years (I.e. 7 year factory warranty) for $2,600. Does anyone think it’s worth it?

Also, the boat with my car lands into Sydney on 12 Nov - any views on how long I would take to get my hands on it?

personal preference i think... Seems like the dealer is just trying to get more cash out of you haha

If 7 years gives you piece of mind, then go for it. You could try negotiate that price as well!

My car landed at Port Kembla docks in Sydney on Oct 23rd. Reached the dealer a bit over week later and was picked up 3 days after - 11 days from landing to getting the keys

maybe add another couple of days to travel to Canberra?
