The LED DRL, but I have worked out that this particular one could be a stock LED DRL for Tiguan sold in the North America

Someone wrote in another topic that this will work as a direct replacement, no need for CANBUS control unit:

I am also looking at this company and their products:

Especially this HID for the low beam:
H7rc Xenon HID Kit Fits: Volkswagen Tiguan | deAutoLED

It gives much better performance than any LED headlight.

Wow that looks nice, is that easy to install? Is it just plug and play? or is it not as straight forward as that? i'm very tempted to get that too.

They do supply and install here in Melbourne, once my car is delivered I shall go and see them, the guy says it is an 1 hr work so shouldn't be too complicated.

Just be careful installing different bulbs into a reflector housing that you don't get a massive amout of light scatter.

Here's a good video which shows the difference between reflector housings and projector housings:

The position of the bulb in a reflector housing is a critical element to the design of the beam pattern. If you shift the point of where the light originates in a reflector housing this will change where the light gets reflected to (like into an oncoming vehicle for example).

I was about to say the same. I would stay away from LED headlights for low beam at the moment, because the design is not 100% correct. People get blinded by aftermarket LED low beam headlights as their light pattern is not the same as normal halogen (design issue) and there is a lot of glare.
The same group you posted the video from, has a comparison video for different aftermarket LED headlights and the final conclusion was that none of them good enough yet.

As can see on the roads lot of tradies trucks got after market LED and it is definitely blinding other drivers, but at the same time I also find a high riding Luxury SUV (e.g. a GLE) blinds me with its "intelligent" "self-leveling" stock LED low beam.

Let us know how it goes. Show us some pictures please. I messaged them and they said it should be straight forward to install yourself, pretty much plug in.

But i am worried this may blind on coming traffic because i hate it myself.
