Discover Pro Screen Protector

Not sure if this has come up before..(I did search) but has anyone ventured down the path of a screen protector for their discover pro unit?
if so, is there a local supplier for these?

Probably not helpful but when i got my car paint protected i got the screens inside done as well works great no protector needed

You could call a paint protector and when he has a bottle open doing another car he could do your screen for a small cost i would bet works just as well as a protector but not visible like a protector

I ended up buying these Matte protectors from Germany. http://r.ebay.com/kcFwdp
They also have gloss or tempered glass and have protectors for the Active Info Display.
I will report back when fitted!

I personally don't see the need for it. Its unlikely to get scratched. We have them on phones in case they get dropped, ant really happen with the unit in the car.

Got 2 kids and a wife with rings etc. I fear an expensive replacement if it’s scratched.

Shat myself when I found the etag and accessory suction cup rear view mirror had dropped off the windscreen on a hot day... they had likely both ricocheted off the Discover Pro screen. Luckily no visible damage.
I’m thinking to get one if those tempered glass jobs.

I had a spare screen protector for a tablet and cut to size, seems to cut down on fingerprints and glare.

I like the one on Amazon for discover pro for Passat. I am also after a protector for Active info display. But they have only listed golf. Would that fit the Passat or is it a different size and shape?

Just installed Matte screen protector to my Discover Pro unit. Ordered from eBay, shipped from Germany.
NO FINGERPRINTS ANYMORE

I bought this a while back, fitted it last weekend. So far has done a good job resisting finger prints and smears. Fits perfectly and easy to fit, just need to take your time to ensure the screen is clean and well aligned.
