Announcement

Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Still loving the Adventure. Weirdly though I half filled the fuel tank and after that the odometer readout on the centre display (vehicle has DAP) has 'long term' vehicle stats way lower than the total kms since purchase. Prior to that it was the full amount. Have since totally refueled and this still hasn't changed, showing a nice 300ks or something. The 'since start' and short term numbers are correct. With ACC off, the total kms still shows on the digital display dash. Weird right? ANyone have any clues?

The long term display regularly resets after a time period - it applies to the odo, long term fuel consumption and ave speed. The actual odometer reading will show with ACC switched off or when then vehicle is switched off or car opened.

ah... thank you. Lucky I didn't ring the dealer, I would have sounded like a total fool. Thank you.
