Wouldve been cool to have a forumer with an allspace being picked up on the same day!
Delaer confirmed the ambient roof lighting is not available...kinda sucks but better than being recalled

We picked up our Allspace around a month ago and finally got around to checking this issue after reading this thread and the ambient lights along the sunroof are in fact working on ours.

I picked up my Allspace 2nd week of July and as yet no communications from VW asking me to bring my car back in.

Hope it stays that way for you...though does the reflection on the sunroof get annoying for your passengers?

Just had a look tonight and it looks like the light strip is still there, so hoping just disabled in the menus
I can still adjust door mounted LED strips and footwell lighting levels, but sunroof is not an option

Does anyone have a non-sunroof model that confirm you can adjust the ambient lighting for the doors and footwell and no option for roof?

Yup, there's only option for footwell, door and entire car on mine. No option for sunroof.

It’ll be disabled / disconnected. There’s issues with the ambient lighting on the sunroof for Allspace.

Whilst you wouldn’t miss it if you never knew, it would look good I imagine

There’s one case in California where the LED module got so hot the headlining caught fire. But many many cases of burning smell. Vw thinks it’s humidity related but until there’s a fix it’s getting disconnected.
