The car will cease to accelerate and it is a bloody annoying feeling! Have a play and see what the time delay is in your car so you know what to expect.
Yep have had a play with it whilst I was practicing the park assist in an empty car park lot. Got used to the ‘drive it like a manual’ behavior which is nuanced but manageable.

The experience I had was different though: I was in stop start traffic crossing over hoddle street, I coasted, quickly braked and then needed to quickly accelerate to get into the right hand lane and avoid sitting in the middle of the intersection. Had nothing under the accelerator and pumped it multiple times. Ended up stuck in the middle of the intersection with an unresponsive car. Put it into S mode and got it to respond. The conditions it happened in couldn’t be replicated via dealer diagnostics - they think I braked/accelerated simultaneously but they acknowledged they don’t know.

I’m totally aware of the lag in Eco but this was different.

Anyway, without a definitive error code, we will keep an eye on it and frankly I’m not using Eco mode anymore as it makes the car feel and act like a truck even without the above experience!

    Individual mode ftw

I drive my 162 in eco to work each day.
While response is quite slow I have never experienced the no throttle response problem.
        Averaged 7.4 l/100km this morning.
Lots of coasting which really helps.
NO ACC as it accelerates and brakes constantly with varying traffic.
Mostly urban with expressway sitting at 80-100 kmh.

        Ruby Red Rline 162.

It is pointless pumping the throttle, that works or has a chance of working in a carburetted car but in one with fuel injection it does absolutely nothing. What do you mean by driving it like a manual is nuanced but manageable?
