Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. • HELP, Coding for Road sign assist not working!

    Hello all,
I have a 2023 VW T-Roc 140TSI. I have tried coding dynamic road sign assist. And I did the streps mentioned on the third post here OBD11 modifications

Everything went smoothly up until setting the Road sign detection fusion mode when I was met with the error on the OBDeleven app “There are no items available for this option”
I have the 2Q0 driver assistance camera and I enabled all the options on the app including Byte 16 bit 4 being ticked.
the dash now displays “error: Dynamic road sign display”
Did i do one of the steps incorrectly or is this a massive bug from OBDeleven?
I can revert it as I have everything backed up before I touched it. Just really bummed out as I find it to be a very useful feature.
    Any help is greatly appreciated
    Thanks

It appears that there have been a camera change since the first generation T-Rocs in A5 Driver Assistance.
The old camera, 3Q0, was able to change road sign detection to the fusion mode.
The newer cameras, 2Q0 which is on the 2022 and later T-Rocs, don't allow road sign detection mode changes.

It was a handy feature in the old T-Roc that I also miss.

You cant do it on the 2Q0 camera but i have it in my 21 Kamiq LE but it doesnt show in the dash, only in the MMI and I havent been able to get it in the dash.

In the 2.5 MMI you had to change it FROM fusion mode to roadside detection for it to work because the maps that use fusion mode are only in Euro cars and AUS maps are different.

I enabled it in my 2019 Tiguan ok but took a couple of goes to get it right. Had several attempts in the Kamiq without success so just live with it now
