Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Infotainment FM, Bluetooth, Android Auto

Have some odd behaviour on the infotainment system (8").

First is FM and when going to another source such as media etc and then when returning to radio, it doesn't default back to the previous FM station but goes to AM radio.

Bluetooth music from the phone works fine when played from the phone but when you try and list the music on the infotainment system most of the time it comes up with "No playable files" but occasionally does list it which is odd. I do use Pulsar+ as my music player on the phone. It's not a major issue as I prefer to play music via USB.

Android auto plays music well as long as you know the artist or song name etc but you can't ask for a list to choose from.

Other than that the T-Roc is a great little car.
