I think it's fair to say that you're going to need to lower a T-Roc with after market wheels.. and do it carefully to avoid that forward rake look a lot of these presumably unmodded cars have.

Agree as soon as you push the wheels out to the line of the fender to eliminate the negative poke (is that a term??), then you need to lower to reduce the gap. I reckon you'd fit a good couple of shoes in that gap.
