Will an Amarok take me to the same places as a Ranger?

Gday mate. Myself and some family completed a Fraser Island week last year. I was in my Amarok, brother in law was in a ranger. He was the Only one to need recoveries. He had more clearance and bigger tires. Mine has all terrain tires and was unstoppable. I saw 10.3lt per 100 on beach as was super hard. Very impressed with the Amarok
