    Retrofitting MFSW in an Amarok

    Hi
    I am selling my old Tiguan SW as I have replaced it with one with paddle shift buttons. An Amarok owner wants to buy it as it is compatible in fitting. My question is, has anyone retrofitted a SW with telephone/MFD buttons and was it a straight swop with some VCDS coding or did they have to upgrade the SW module to a highline version as well?

    I have not seen the vehicle in question but I understand it is one of the first trend line models without Bluetooth but it does have a trip computer accessible via the indicator stalk

    Do an autoscan of the Roc and compare the steering wheel control module to the Tig.

      That was my plan but I only have a MicroCAN cable which does not talk to the Amarok. I am trying to convince the owner to buy a Hex+CAN cable from RossTech as his wife has a Tiguan which I have just tweaked for him

          Thanks for the above. Is this from a basic model at it appears to have no #16 steering wheel module or door modules or are they all integrated into the main BCM #9 module?
