My work's office is in the same business park as VW Australia. Since coming back from Christmas the Amarok's are everywhere in all shapes and guises.

They look fantastic and are very well finished.

With VWs goal of overtaking Toyota as #1 I hear that these will be very competitively priced in comparison to the Toyota Hilux.

I took pictures of one parked in North Sydney thinking I had a scoop.

Would have walked right past it but the "4motion" badge on the tail gate triggered something.

I saw a white Amarok on Pennant Hills Rd, Pennant Hills yesterday morning.

I saw a truck load of them on Friday in Alexandria going up Bourke St and then one driving down Botany Road this afternoon. My local dealer said that VW are getting ready to do a road show with each dealer getting one for a week each on a rotation. No pricing as yet and they are not going to let customers test drive them yet.

I have seen 5 or 6 now around Mascot & Botany. The first one was around 3 weeks ago it looked fully optioned and was the nice R32 grey.

Yeah there'll be heaps around the Mascot & Botany area at the moment, VW Aus Head office is there.

I saw a silver Amarok on Galston Rd Hornsby yesterday.

You should see them at the [Autohaus] VW Commercial dealer in Thornleigh, if you want to have a good look or a test drive, since this place is a commercial specialist.

I think they should showcase one at the front of their yard, given its exposure to the PH Rd traffic.

Speaking of dealers, who wants to come and window shop the [Alto] Audi Pennant Hills renovated yard?
