What's this pump

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone knows what the pictured pump is and when should i expect it to turn on? I've never seen any voltage going to it with all my testing.

Auxiliary coolant pump.

It's PWM controlled by the ECU. Most likely to run after the engine has shut off from normal operating temperature.

Interesting. I've heard my aux pump b run after shut down but I've never seen or heard and indication that my other pump is sound anything
