Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Just wanted to confirm for myself and anyone else who is looking for the oils and volumes required for the Amarok. Note, this will vary from model to model.
    Model in question: Amarok 2012 BiTDI 4M 2HB 4WD CDCA 120kW/163HP

    Final Drive:
    Front Differential (G052 145 S2) - 75W-90 GL-5 Penrite 0.9L
    Rear Differential (G052 539 A2) - 75W-80 Nulon 0.8 L

    Gearbox (G055 538 A2) - 75W-80 GL-4 1.5L Penrite
    Transfer Case (G052 533 A2) - ATF BMV MERCON® SP, ZF TE ML-11, MB 236.14 1.2L Penrite
    Engine (Crankcase) Oil - 5W-30 6.5L
