Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • A Question about the Mk8 R Wagon

Hi all, just wanted to ask everyone a question.

    I have had the
mk8 r wagon on order for some time now, its due next month ( Lapiz blue sun roof and HK Audio), me and wife have always wanted a golf.
Other priorities have arisen since then for example we now have a 6month old amongst other expenses, I have been considering forfeiting the order but the news has come the wagons are discontinued and you cannot get any more unless your order was already placed prior to the news from VW.

My question is, should I keep the order and go ahead with the purchase with the chance of on selling it for a profit or even keep long term, is it not worth the trouble.

i have been stewing on this for a while now..

    Thank you in advanced

Only you know how your finances are The kid will fit in the back okay . However it is an expensive model and if money is tight swallow your pride and buy a lesser model. Eg a Tiguan132 or even a 162 Rline. More room easier to get kid in and out etc probably $20,000cheaper as well. They all are only allowed to do 100kph after all
    2021 Kamiq LE 110 , Moon White, BV cameras F & B
    Mamba Ebike to replace Tiguan
