I believe ACT has lower tax than VIC or NSW so it'll be a fair bit cheaper there. That was the situation when I bought my Wolfie during the last release.

I was told we are one of the highest not the lowest. Vic and Sa are the lowest all my mates buy cars there as its cheaper

Update on my progress with a Wolfsburg, ended up cancelling my contract with my previous dealer and luckily signing today for the same spec with a different dealer. They were quite confident of delivering by end of year but will all hinge on that August 8 allocation.

I'm confused you are waiting for allocations ?? They have already been allocated. My dealer has three so far on the way. If your details were on the previous car then they should of been able to give you eta. I work with my dealer so i have a far amount more insight then what most do. There is going to be a truck load of golfs due to arrive in December there is a few wolfs coming alot almost two pages worth. 99% of them without sunroofs. Mine for some reason which has a sunroof is not due to be started untill October

To clarify, I'm waiting on the build date and specific VIN allocation for my car. Seems like all dealers know what colours and how many Wolfsburgs they're getting by now but I don't think anyone ordering a Wolfsburg has actually got a specific VIN/build just yet (someone prove me wrong!). Until they actually give us that, ETAs are just speculation/best guesses.
