The water has run down both the a and b pillars. The car is booked in to be repaired on Tuesday under warranty. They are replacing the faulty part and the roof lining.

Should I be concerned about water damage to the speaker in the a pillar or to the airbags? I recall that some tinting shapes won't tint the front quarter windows because they didn't want to interfere with the airbags.

    Cheers.

@lambertia, absolutely terrible to hear ! I really hope everything gets sorted out for you and there is no further damage anywhere else. In terms of wiring definitely make sure your repairing checks to see there is no damage to body work or to any wiring looms which are all in that area under the headlining/a/b-pillar.

Just make sure they do a thorough check of everything, all systems and modules so no electrical faults. Any idea how this has happened? I notice you have a wagon which has a difference sunroof then the hatch, how far back does the leak start? just behind the passenger door as pictured? Or further back?

The best of luck to you Greg.

      Thanks!

The leak seems to have started just left of the A pillar and has spread back to the B pillar is in the photos. They have said that it was caused by a faulty drainage hose.

The service from the dealer has been excellent.

      Cheers!
