I had test drive of a 132tsi today while I'm waiting for my 135tdi to arrive. The 6spd dsg felt a lot quicker to respond on take off compared to the one in the Yeti so I can't wait to give the 7spd a go with the diesel. Very nice to drive and the adaptive cruise and auto braking work very well together.

Did it have the digital driving dash?
When adaptive cruise is on and your behind someone it shows green line up to your set speed if your going lower
Its the lazy way to travel in traffic just got to remember to brake if there is no one at the lights ahead of you.... had to stomp on the brakes the other day was about to sail right through a red light

Whoops! I hadn't thought of that lol Still on target for early next week - just gotta keep myself in the loop to make sure the planets align! Let me know what happens with the indicators.

Drove down to portsea about 170km round trip on weekend mix of freeway and 60/80km speeds
Was 5.4 average with 3 adults and 3 lots of golf gear clubs and buggies

Sooo...here I was thinking the car wouldn't arrive at the dealership until Friday meaning it wouldn't be available to pick up until next Tue or Wed. Then I saw openings for the VW drive experience at Phillip Island next Monday and I booked it this morning. Less than an hour later I get a call from the dealership - your car is here and will be ready to pick up Monday...

Ahh well I'll get it Tuesday 😁

I have a spare pair of the rear window side spoilers for sale if your interested (cheap)

looks like long term average fuel use is going to be mid 7,s did a top up and calculated 7.4ltr/100k or 13.8klm per ltr that's ok for how hard i have been pushing have to let me know how you do that motor is so hard to resist nothing like the 110tdi

My old 103tdi was 16.8klm per ltr but did not push it hardly at all

Ok just been down to dealer for 1000k check up(all ok)

Quizzed them about the dynamic indicators looks like rooboy was right not fitted on the r model wagons overseas

Also was told that the r model is so popular that all drivers displays/9.2inch dicoverpro,s and dynamic taillights are being earmarked and stockpiled for them so no more fully loaded alltracks for about 6 mths! I don't know how true it is but was told only about 10 fully loaded alltracks have made it to aus (yay for the early deposit)

Back to dynamic indicators my dealer told me won't know anything about availability for at least 2 mths if not more and prob won't be available for min 6+ months that's for the hatch version(they can't even get a set to put on the display highline), wagon version still unknown if it will even be able to be purchased at any date
/Sigh... dammit sooo wanted those
