He will post soon the current EOIs and update that accordingly, he will also be contacting Mark with regards to the group buy numbers on Monday and will confirm if the deal is going ahead. On another note, are the indicators on the V2s the same halogen bulbs as the stock units? If so I'll replace them with LEDs, are the high beans the same H7s as stock too?

Hi everyone,
Thanks veew for all your hard work in setting up the group buy. As he mentioned earlier, I’ll push on with the GB from here given his other commitments.
Because I can’t edit veew’s posts I thought I’d reiterate where we are up to with numbers and details for the lights themselves.

Updated Pricing for GB numbers lower than 20 units:
$US399/set for V2 or GTI
P&H: You can choose from EMS $US195 (15-25 days) OR FedEx $US224 (3-5 days). Note: Fedex is quicker delivery (quoted 15-25 days vs 3-5 days) plus more comprehensive insurance

This would mean the headlights will cost $US619 ($AUD659) when shipped with EMS.
BUT there is also a Paypal fee, usually $US25 but Mark stated on payment we put $US619 (which means Paypal takes $US25, they get $US575).
Therefore the FINAL price of the headlights including P&H is $US619 ($AUD6539) VIA EMS, or $US648 ($AUD690) VIA FedEx.

Process of purchase:
As veew mentioned previously, I have to update Mark with numbers this coming Monday (21/7/14) in order to start the build before the end of the month. Next month is a busy one for production and our shipments might be delayed otherwise.

I will attempt to contact those who have previously expressed interested.

After Mark has agreed with the price for the numbers we have, I will need people to PM me with their details:
- Name
- Address
- Contact number
- Preferred postage method (FedEx vs EMS)
(I will attempt to clarify the actual price if people prefer FedEx)

Once Mark has these we will need to forward WP Lamps the money via PayPal before production starts (keeping in mind they would need to be in by around 25th or 26th July). He will then send each of us individual tracking numbers for postage.

Sorry guys! I think I misunderstood Mark in a previous email (as referred to in post #38 ). It just popped into my head, I think I made the headlights cheaper than what it is. This is the email I’m referring to:

I'm really sorry for the misunderstanding guys. I've asked Couchmotorist to chase it up with Mark but I don't think we'll be hearing from Mark until Monday. Just update what your thoughts are with the price and Couchmotorist will update the EOIs accordingly.

After all this faffing about I just don't want to think about it anymore. Lock me in for V2, 5000k with EMS shipping Couchmotorist.

If it's $659 it's not too bad ...
Atleast with PayPal there's some sort of insurance.

If it's not too much extra with FedEx would prefer as it's quicker.

Also, I'm under the impression they're yet to make the RHD lights. How long will this take?

I'm still in for the GTI 5000k version via EMS they should arrive just after my first service that way.
Thanks for all your hard work so far veew and you too couchmotorist for taking it over.
I'm after them because the halogens as we know aren't very good but after having a Golf7 R follow me today damm they look so much more aggressive they really lift the look of the front end.
