Does the source of that photo state that is specifically of a non-power foldable mirror? I've seen power folding mirrors that look like that so I wonder if it is just a photo of that.
You may be right — after all I am 90 — but the fact remains that I could easily fold the mirrors on the Mk 6 I sold just over a month ago, and can't even shake those on the new Mk 7 (TDI110 Highline.)
As I said, in neutral with the handbrake off I can move the car by shoving either mirror in the direction it's supposed to fold (they should be foldable both ways, BTW.)
They still give me the impression they're bolted on.
