I ordered my R wagon yesterday (blue with sunroof) from a Brisbane dealer as both Canberra dealers would not negotiate (same story when I bought my R36), even on the excessive $2.5k delivery fee. I may be wrong but I thought that the Australian deliveries were only available in black, blue, or limestone grey.

Please let me know if anyone is interested (around December) in a one owner, fully optioned 2008 R36 blue wagon that has been driven mainly by my wife about 20k km per year...

How can they negotiate when there is no pricing set for the R Wagon yet? VWA have mention of will be under $60k, that's all they can say, plus onroads, so not sure what negotiating your Brisbane dealer can do without a price?

Not sure on the limestone grey, but white is definitely one of the 3 colors it will come with, I will confirm.

I had an R36 wagon too, seems to be the logical step forward for us hehe

I only negotiated the price elements that the dealer can set - including the delivery 'cost' and a fixed discount off the retail price set by VW.

So it would appear Patricks has lost my car somewhere between Melbourne - Brisbane - Dealer... The best part is according the Patrick's tracking system, the car allegedly made it from Brisbane to Perth in 1 day! If true, that's amazing!

Hopefully whoever put the entry in just made a typo... Here's to hoping.

Update: Yup, the care is in Perth... *facepalm...

Hahaha ya... Oh wells, dealer have said they will throw tinting in for free still, be nice to be driving the car!

Any one know how long it is taking to get your car out of the docks into the dealership now. My new ride has arrived at Port Kembla now and is awaiting to get tarted up at the dealership for me in Sydney.

My Golf R arrived in Port Kembla 29th April. Took delivery 15th May. Sydney dealership, could have squeezed a day quicker if I pestered the dealer.
