Anybody else with a car arriving on the Tijuca? It should get in to Tahiti on Saturday, then on to Auckland, Melbourne, Port Kembla and finally Brisbane. It left Bremerhaven on 21 March and came the longest possible way via the Panama Canal.

I don't think that's too bad. The Undine which had a lot of our cars on it went down the west coast of South Africa and then across the Indian Ocean and took over 6 weeks to get to us.

It will actually be 7 ½ weeks for mine - from Bremerhaven to Brisbane. The wait is killing me!

Hey, I was expecting mid-to-late March after a three week wait before we worked out hang on, the car is on a boat not due until April (Undine).. so I'm already at 7.5 weeks and it's definitely killing me.

Night Blue Golf GTI Performance Pack with driver assistance, Tint, Focal Splits, Focal Sub. Damn VW for not supplying Dynaudio or Helix sound system or many other features that can be bought overseas...... I would have bought the new Subaru WRX Premium if I had a choice but the wife was involved in the decision process... much quicker and better bang for buck.

Hello All,

I haven't been on the forum since I ordered my CC TDI 3 years ago. So ... cars up for replacement and looking at something smaller so looking at a Highline with Driver Assist and maybe leather in Pacific Blue. I like to look of the wagon but as this is a second car used to drive to the railway station probably can't justify it. I really should be looking at a Rio or a Polo (my daughter has a 2013 Comfortline with Sport & Comfort pack) but that would be dropping too much from my beautiful black CC.

I've only spoken to one dealer so far and he tells me dealers aren't swapping cars it's either tracking one down myself or waiting the 5 months (again) for the order. Anyway ... this will be our third VW ... so I know they are worth the wait.

Any thoughts on absolute options welcome.

Has anyone with a car that came on the Undine collected yet? I pick mine up on Wednesday 30/4.

I am due for collection on Friday 2 May (although could have collected the day before but figured I'd take a long weekend).

I ordered only 1 March - the car was unassigned. 7 months, now that's a killer!

Given mine needed to come from the Melbourne drop off and needs to go out for tint and so on I would have thought some Victorians would have already collected by now.

Jimi, you have some patient balls of steel. I died after waiting 2 months and canned my factory order for a MY13 car on the promotions earlier this year. Exciting times soon Dutch77, haha have you already ordered a few things for the car prior to delivery?

Ordered mine on 12/4 and picked it up from barloworld yesterday evening. Drove it home with all the stickers still on it. My preferred detailer will take care of it this Saturday.

I've been good so far - only the Lakin base plate for the rear and some covers to try out.

I'm also close to pulling the trigger on a wheel change, I don't mind the Austins but wouldn't mind a different look.
