  • VW Central and local dealership said it won't fit.

Euro car upgrades responded with the following :

"I can confirm that this kit is designed to work with a wagon as well.

We do install & coding in Smithfield - once you purchase the kit you can book online: Euro Car Upgrades -Euro Car Upgrades

The installation price is listed on the item page on the website at the bottom.

Happy to refund you if there are any issues."

Decision now as to whether to take a gamble on it.

      Take one for the team!

But yes, the wagon and hatch are *completely* different shapes; hence why there is nobody just running hatch LED tails even in the Euro early adopter cars. You know the ones; we all drool over them long before the model even comes out here.

      • I'd do it but can't justify 1k for the tail lights tbh

        • Mk7 Golf Wagon

Oh god, the shame!! I just discovered when I had my Wolf up on the hoist that the quad exhausts are fake on my wagon.

            • Questions on MY16 110TSI Highline Wagon

I have just taken delivery of my 110TSI Highline Wagon and have a couple of questions for the experts on the forum:

              1. Can you get rear window wind/rain deflectors for the wagon?

              2. Has anyone investigated or installed unobtrusive driving lights in the grill area (a little more reach on rural roads)

              3. Extra 12v sockets, best places to install.

              Thank you all in advance

                Congratulations mate. I have a 15 model r line .

                1. No none available unfortunately

                2. I'm sure any auto electrician can install some high intensity led. Not a hard job at all

                3. Same as above. You can install an where you think suits best. EBay will have heaps of options you can purchase.

Thanks very much for the response, it really is appreciated, thought that would be the outcomes and will chase up in the new year.

Have a safe and happy Christmas.

                  • golf 7 wagon - remove floor behind rear seat?

I now have my new Golf 7 comfortline wagon. I have bought some custom seat covers and they are proving a bugger to fit.

I have removed all the false boot floor and the plastic bracing that holds up the false floor, but there is still one piece left I can't see how to remove. directly behind the rear seat there is a "box" that runs between the wheel arches, it has a flap in the top to access a child seat mount. I would like to remove that "box" so I can get my hand behind the seat and install the seat covers properly.

Any clues how to remove this box, or remove the seat backs if that is easier? (I have already removed the seat base, that is easy.)

Also my car has a drawer under the front passenger seat, it gets in the way of the seat cover tapes, is it possible to get the drawer out so I can thread the tapes through and then refit the drawer?

                    thanks.

The question is, do you guys have a cover for the hole? or is it just left open from factory? Trying to figure out if the repairers missed a part.
Just incase you haven't received and answer I thought I'd try help.
The hole is for a tow hitch and should come with this blanking plate

                        • Lightbar addition

Just fitted a small light bar to the wagon for a little extra vision on dark country roads. Connected to Hi beam with defeat switch in small storage unit beside steering wheel.
