Just a thought/recommendation, I think it would make sense to make a thread for Golf R Wagon, IMO the punter buying the R wago is different to the hatch buyer? Would make sense separating the two?

There's not enough discussion on the topic at the moment to warrant it; presumably once it's formally announced/priced for release there will be a lot more and we'll create a dedicated thread for it!

I'm not stopping anyone from creating a general Golf R Wagon Discussion Thread though, if they want to kick things off.

Quick question for those with a Wagon, just got mine back from the repair shop for rear end damage. Noticed under the rear bumper where the tow bar arm would usually be, there is a rectangle opening. You have to be almost under the bumper looking directly up at it to notice it.

The question is, do you guys have a cover for the hole? or is it just left open from factory? Trying to figure out if the repairers missed a part.

I'm at work at the moment, can try to get a photo later if it's not clear what I'm asking.

Also, anyone else notice the two parts of the tail light don't actually line up (the part on quarter panel and tail-gate)? I thought it was dodgy repair work, but turns out that's how they roll off the factory floor. It's even in their marketing shots.

Don't think they exist. I've also spent countless time on google.

I did contact a company in the UK about potentially making a set from scratch but all they could offer was fitting LED globes to the factory lights.

Wagon and hatch tail lights are different shapes. Unless they have photographic evidence, I wouldn't be taking a risk on getting them sent, only to send them back.
