Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Golf Mk7.5 Highline wagon gearbox thudding and service?

    Hi All,

    My 110Tsi Mk7.5 wagon has been making some thudding sounds lately, usually when cold and under load/accelerating.

    I'm not 100% sure on the gearbox model to search for, or what kind of servicing it usually requires as well.

    It's done ~45000km.
