Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • 20" tyres...

    Hi there,

I just bought a Wagon and ended up getting some 20" as well but still not decided yet about the tyre size. Anybody there running 20” that could give me some help?

I first though running them on 245/30/20 but then found another two sizes that could fit as well, the first one is 235/30/20 and the second one is 235/35/20.

The wheels are from an A6 Allroad 2013, 8,5” ET43. I’m about to install this week the Eibach Pro Kit.

    Any ideas???

    Thanks.

A tyre shop will know what size you need to ensure your speedo remains accurate.

You may have seen this already but try this handy site for working out tyre sizes and speedo change etc.

        Hi,

I did check the willtheyfitt.com and the 245/30/20 is the right measure to go but I been seeing some people around the web using 235/30/20. That made me think is it would be less harshly.
