Couple small mods installed- DSG paddle extensions and Black out strips on Cadiz rims
Looks good!
How do you find the paddle extensions? I tried the ones you have and found they fouled the indicator/wiper wands when the wheel was turned and you changed gear. YMMV. But I quite liked the look of them.
so I ended up with the Racingline knock off replacement paddles via AliExpress or FleaBay, can’t recall which now.

Dead simple to install, work well with no clearance probs, good quality gear too for a fraction of what Racingline want.
Those ones look great for the price. I really like the look and feel of the ones I have but haven't really driven car enough to test out what you found. I'm barely driving the R at present maybe once a week. Just using wifes/family leased car most of time. First world problems- do I take the FL S3 or the Stage 2 MK7R. The Audi to be replaced in couple weeks with new M135i too so I'll enjoy that most of the time until things go back to normal and wife needs car more.
I will check for what you said next time I drive it. I must say I mainly got them for looks as I rarely go manual mode. With DSG tune you don't really need to. The D mode great fo cruising and the sports mode awesome for faster spirited driving, Unlike the stock tune which sucks in both.
I tried a few before i settled on these good quality from the U.S.A
Don't know how you would go getting them now tho with the chaos that is going on
You can get them in GTI and R as well Paddle Shifters for non GTI/R cars

it sucks you had to pay so much for decent shifters.

Yeah they were expensive but far and away the best fit and quality
So ya gets what ya pay for
I am happy i got them 3 years on and they still look great work perfectly and the fitting on the paddles has not come loose at all

were they with 3m tape too or with a pin / direct replace
If you have a look on the close up photo you will see some small screws on the top
It fits over the existing paddles and the screws push a small bar down onto the existing paddle it provides a very secure fit and does not damage the paddle like some cheap items which have the screw hit the paddle itself leaving a ugly scar if you remove the extension
