MK7.5 Golf R - trim on door panel slightly separated

Hi All,

I have a 2018 GOLF R, I've been having an issue with a really bad rattle on the drivers side door, after some investigating I found that the seal around the window trim has separated a bit from the window part (as seen in the images) - my question is, will this be covered by the warranty? its still under its 5 YR warranty, but its over 1 year

Why would it matter if it’s over one year? It’s a 5 year warranty.
